Chimney sweeping is one of the best ways to service and maintain your stove. It is also the only way to ensure that the fire burns effectively at all times and without any problems whatsoever. Having your chimney cleaned at least once a year is the only way to ensure its durability and functionality.  

Youngs can offer the following services:

• Replacing any damaged glass on the chimney. 
• Rejoining the fire cement seals if at all they are not intact.
• Oiling or greasing any available moving parts to make them useful.
• Replacing any loose or lost door seals.
• Clearing of any debris by sweeping the flue.
• Perform any relevant pointing repairs to prevent it from deteriorating and crumbling.
• Removing excessive amounts of creosote prevents the chimney from igniting.

For replacement parts such as glass or fire bricks, this is done  to order. Please provide us with the make and model of your stove/open fire. Rope and cement we carry as stock items
